Sloans Lake

Sloans Lake is a neighborhood unique to most others in Denver. The reason? The 177 acre lake and park, offering stunning views of downtown Denver from the western part of the park and mountain views from the much of the park. The lake allows for recreational boats. You’ll find people fishing, boating and wakeboarding throughout the summer months.

Just south of the actual park and lake there is a massive redevelopment project happening. On the site of the former St. Anthony’s hospital is a relatively large master-planned community. High-end condos, rowhomes, apartments, restaurants and shops are transforming this portion of Sloans Lake and the West Colfax region of Denver. Stay tuned for the exciting build-out of this project.

The rest of the neighborhood is characterized by Craftsman Bungalows, Traditional Ranch-Style homes, Tudors with a boom of New Construction Single Family and Multi Family, especially in the Southeast region of the neighborhood. This neighborhood is bordered by Federal Boulevard on the East, Colfax on the South, Sheridan Boulevard on the West and 29th Avenue (bordering West Highlands) on the North.
