Greenwood Village

Arapahoe County’s premier neighborhood, Greenwood Village, was founded in the 1860s when settlers arrived looking for gold. By the early 1900s, it had transitioned into a farming community. While beautiful Silo Park still boasts vestiges of that time, with its refurbished silo and barn, you won’t see acres of crops anymore. Rather, you’ll find expansive lawns and higher priced homes, as well as 40 miles of walking and biking trails and a superb view of the mountains to the west. The area includes the Denver Technological Center, as well as high-end restaurants, such as Del Frisco’s or Shanahan’s. Homeowners laud the services the Village provides (streets are plowed nearly as fast as the snow hits!) and the Cherry Creek school system, one of the finest in the state.  In all, this is an excellent choice, particularly for those with growing families who like a suburban environment.
