Chaffee Park

Chaffee Park is named after Jerome B. Chaffee, one of the founders of the city of Denver and a US Senator. Many of the homes built at the start of this neighborhood were Minimal Traditional-style, which resembles the Tudor Revival-style from the 1920s and 30s. This area earned Sustainable Neighborhood designation from the City and County of Denver in February 2014 and is currently listed as an “Outstanding Sustainable Neighborhood”. Neighborhoods participating in this program work together in areas such as communication, gardening, healthy living, and recycling to enhance the livability of their neighborhood. Zuni Park is situated right in the middle of the neighborhood and serves as the perfect setting for community events and barbeques.
